Best Oriental Vanilla Fragrances

Today we will start our trip through the wonderful world of perfumes. Fragrances are made of different notes, some are yummy, other floral or grassy, other watery and belong to a specific olfactive group.

We`ll start by reviewing perfumes belonging to oriental vanilla category.
Angel by Thierry Mugler is so famous that probably everyone knows about it. Launched in 1992, its top notes are cocnut, melon, cassia, orange, mandarin, cotton candy, followed by middle notes such as blackberry, plum, peach, rose and berries and ending with tonka bean, vanilla, amber, caramel and dark chocolate.

Wish by Chopard was launched in 1999 and it`s a combination of wild strawberry, honeysuckle, coconut, brazilian rosewood, violet and milk, but also sandalwood, vanilla and caramel. A sweet and warm fragrance.

Allure Eau de Parfum by Chanel features cedar, bergamot, peach, vanilla, rose, vetiver and jasmine among others. Charming.

Hypnotic Poison by Dior was launched in 1998 and it includes notes like allspice, apricot, coconut, tuberose, Brazilian rosewood, lily-of-the-valley, almond and vanilla. Very elegant and fascinating.

Escada Magnetism by Escada is an oriental vanilla launched in 2003. With yummy notes such as pineapple, melon, black currant, red berries, litchi and cassia, but also flowery magnolia, iris, freesia, jasmine and heliotrope and spicy sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver and sweet stuff like vanilla and caramel, this one will grow on you.

Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin by Guerlain is a fragrance introduced in 2008 and it features dark chocolate, vanilla, pepper, rum, cacao, rose and spices.

L de Lolita Lempicka by Lolita Lempicka has, apart from its amazing bottle, interesting notes such as bitter orange, musk, tonka bean, vanilla and cinnamon and was launched in 2006.

Let Them Eat Cake by Tokyo Milk Parfumarie Curiosite is an oriental vanilla fragrance made of coconut, vanilla and milk. If this doesn`t sound yummy, then I don`t know what does.
